I have reported, blogged and tweeted from awards-show press rooms for E! Online. Save the years I covered the Oscars from the parking lot and the Globes from the luggage room, I can be found in the interview room where winners are taken, presumably against their will, post-win.
A few dispatches that stand out: the year the Globes was struck by the writers' strike; the year the SAGs was struck by antigay protesters (and the one brave soul struck right back); and, the year the Grammys gave me a lot of time to channel James Frey.
